Rosewall Accessibility Statement

Our park offers tent and campervan grass pitches (there are no electric hook ups) We are situated on a hill but there are level pitches available. We have lovely views of the sea and surrounding countryside. All pitches have parking alongside your unit.

There are two toilet and shower blocks one of which has a room for wheelchair users with toilet, shower and wash basin which is accessed with a radar key. This is at the bottom end of the field.

There are two laundry rooms. The bottom block has one step and the top has three steps.

We have a small shop for basics goods, toys and a selection of camping equipment which is on level ground, the door is regular width with a small threshold step. The local area of Preston offers a Spar and Co-op which are 5 minutes’ drive in the car or for a wider range the supermarkets Sainsburys and Morrisons are nearer Weymouth.

There is a 10mph speed limit throughout the park with speed bumps in several locations.

There are local taxis available from Weymouth and there is a bus service ½ mile from the park.

There is a footpath at the bottom of the park back to the road which takes you to the coastal path heading towards Durdle door and Lulworth Cove and The Smugglers Inn. The coastal path has a kissing gate and steps so is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchair users.

Osmington Mills rocky beach access is not easy and is not suitable for wheelchair users or push chairs. Ringstead Bay which is on the coastal footpath from Osmington Mills takes approximately 30 mins to walk or can be accessed by car in 5 minutes. Ringstead is a pebble beach and can be accessed by a ramp. There is a private car park for which there is a charge for the day.
