Temporary Fire Pit & charcoal BBQ Ban at Rosewall.

With the ongoing heat and extremely dry conditions, we’re putting a temporary pause on all fire pit and charcoal BBQ use across the site.

This is purely for safety — the ground is exceptionally dry, and even small sparks can cause big problems in weather like this.

Please don’t use fire pits or charcoal BBQs until we confirm we're lifting the ban.

We know this isn’t ideal and we’re really sorry for the inconvenience, but keeping everyone (and the surrounding countryside) safe has to come first.

Rosewall is a family-run camping park set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, on the Jurassic Coast, in the hamlet of Osmington Mills on the outskirts of Weymouth.

Our southerly 13-acre camping field enjoys stunning views over the sea and the surrounding countryside and is the perfect base for exploring the area’s many and varied attractions.

Whether you are walking the coastal path, discovering the area's pretty villages and hidden coves, enjoying watersports facilities, getting some retail therapy or just relaxing from the hustle and bustle of everyday life – Rosewall is the perfect place to stay.
